Job Description
As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will be responsible for various types of mechanical components design and documentation. The ideal candidate will have experience with theoretical concepts of mechanisms, material science, solid mechanics and general CAD and CAE methodologies. The applicant is expected to have familiarity with design tools, Microsoft Office suite and basic interpretation of CAE results. Having previous experience in product development or product validation would be beneficial.
How you will spend your time:
Understand systems needs and product requirements.
Analyze and select materials and components for mechanical systems.
Prepare design layouts, diagrams, bills of material, and drawings of components and assemblies with supporting calculations, in support of the overall system design.
Support prototyping and physical validation of designed components.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Student of Mechanical Engineering degree or similar.
Knowledge of material science, solid mechanics and CAD/CAE tools.
Experience with MS Office software.
Knowledge of different mechanical systems and std practices, primarily electrical packaging, hyd/pneu packaging and general mechanical parts (brackets, castings, etc.).
Highly organized and efficient.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Desired Skills:
Experience/Knowledge in creo parametric.
Knowledge of solid mechanics.
General notion of product validation (including analytical tools and physical validation).
