Job Description

The Communications & Marketing Intern supports SACC – Texas’s external communications and marketing activities, with a strong focus on events, social media, member communications, brand visibility, and consistent cross-chapter promotion.

• Manage SACC social media presence
• Create and schedule social posts
• Promote upcoming SACC events
• Support event planning and execution
• Create event marketing materials
• Coordinate event communications
• Capture event photos and content
• Develop member newsletters and updates
• Highlight members and success stories
• Maintain communications and event calendars
• Track engagement and event results
• Support cross-chapter communications

PLEASE NOTE: Candidates are welcome to apply for multiple positions at SACC, it's important to highlight that accepting an offered position and subsequently accepting a second position at SACC is not allowed. Doing so will result in disqualification from both positions.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a university program or recently graduated in a relevant field of study
  
• Able to commit to six consecutive months
  
• Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English
  
• Comfortable taking responsibility and working independently
  
• Structured, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks
  
• Creative, digitally confident, and detail-oriented
  
• Strong written communication skills
  
• Comfortable taking initiative and meeting deadlines
  
• Swedish citizenship is required

Benefits

This is a six-month internship starting in January 2027. The internship does not provide monetary compensation as SACC-USA is a non-profit organization. As an intern abroad, you can apply for scholarships. Depending on the university program, some students may also be eligible for student aid from CSN. SACC-USA will assist with the visa application process. To be eligible for a J-1 visa, you must be a Swedish citizen.
