Job Description


The intern will be responsible for coding, production, modification, documentation and maintenance of enterprise class websites and applications for desktop and mobile. The intern will review, augment, and improve the code for multiple full-stack web and client/server applications written using C# and the .NET framework as well as JavaScript environments and frameworks, e.g., React. Further, you will work closely with our project managers and business analysts to write clean, modular, and efficient code that enable our digital products.

- Responsible for the design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, documentation, and improvement of software
- Take responsibility for architecture, test automation, and quality.
- Work independently with Business Partners, Product Managers and Business Analysts to shape ideas and requirements into applications
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and application integration partners.
- Utilize and build RESTful backend services.

Requirements

  • B. Sc Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics or Math
  • Experience with web development using modern technologies.
  • Exposure/understanding of object-oriented programming, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Experience with relational databases and database normalization.
  • Knowledge of agile methodology.
  • Interest in learning new languages, tools, and frameworks.

Job Description


​​​​​​​Trainee (Remotely), 3-6 months

The Trainee role includes planning, organizing, and executing activities such as business seminars, networking events, and speaker’s events. The Trainee will plan, produce, deliver and follow up program activities that are hosted by SACC Carolinas and in collaboration with other partners.

This includes generating and evaluating event ideas, creating events, marketing proposals, timelines, writing post-event reports and more. The trainee will also be focusing on researching ideas for new events and promotion strategies, including our regular Newsletter. We also need support to work on our social media.

This is a 3- 6 months trainee position beginning ASAP or in January 2024. The traineeship has no monetary compensation, as SACC Carolinas is a non-profit organization.

PLEASE NOTE: While candidates are welcome to apply for multiple positions at SACC, it's important to highlight that accepting an offered position and subsequently accepting a second position at SACC is not allowed. Doing so will result in disqualification from both positions.
