The Marketing Intern will closely work with the Area Marketing Manager, Northeast, Area Marketing Coordinator and Experience Center Coordinator on understanding strategy, coordination and execution of Northeast Business Area marketing initiatives and events with the Axis team, distributors, and partners. He/she will be responsible for on site management of both customer and internal meetings within the Axis Experience Center, located in Chelmsford, MA


Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of events both offsite and at our Chelmsford Axis Experience Center, including logistics, vendor management, catering, giveaway sourcing and procurement, and other related tasks.
  • Work with the Experience Center Coordinator to attract Chelmsford Axis Experience Center visitors and streamline customer meeting logistics
  • Strategize with the Field Marketing Team to create successful marketing initiatives for the local area
  • Manage co-marketing initiatives with local Axis partners for brand exposure
  • Maintain and own event reporting by using Eventbrite, Salesforce, and other tools.
  • Additional marketing projects and duties (internal and external) as assigned

Job Description


​​​​​​​Trainee (Remotely), 3-6 months

The Trainee role includes planning, organizing, and executing activities such as business seminars, networking events, and speaker’s events. The Trainee will plan, produce, deliver and follow up program activities that are hosted by SACC Carolinas and in collaboration with other partners.

This includes generating and evaluating event ideas, creating events, marketing proposals, timelines, writing post-event reports and more. The trainee will also be focusing on researching ideas for new events and promotion strategies, including our regular Newsletter. We also need support to work on our social media.

This is a 3- 6 months trainee position beginning ASAP or in January 2024. The traineeship has no monetary compensation, as SACC Carolinas is a non-profit organization.

PLEASE NOTE: While candidates are welcome to apply for multiple positions at SACC, it's important to highlight that accepting an offered position and subsequently accepting a second position at SACC is not allowed. Doing so will result in disqualification from both positions.

Requirements

  • Higher education within Business, Marketing, Project Management or equivalent
  • Structured, creative, outgoing personality, salesmanship, and initiative skills
  • Teamwork and leadership skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, flexible attitude
  • Service-minded
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in Swedish and English
