| SACC San Francisco's Trainee Program is an educational
and cultural exchange program, offering young people from Sweden an excellent
opportunity to gain experience with the SACC SF and one of our Member Companies
in the United States. The purpose of the Exchange Visitor Program is to promote
and foster respect and education between Sweden and the U.S. by providing Swedish
students and young professionals the opportunity to participate in a structured
training program. The areas of training can include: Management, Business,
Commerce and Finance, Science, Engineering, Architecture, Mathematics, Industrial
Occupations, Public Administration and Law. The length of the training program
may vary between 12 months up to 18 months. The exact length will be decided in
each individual case, once a match between a host and trainee has been made. As
a trainee you will improve your knowledge of American techniques, compare U.S.
workplace environments and operations with those in your home country, improve
your English language skills in a business setting, and get a head start on your
career by gaining an international competitive advantage. The specific objectives
of the training program will be outlined in an individualized training plan. The
training will take place under supervision provided by the host company or chamber. The
trainee participants in SACCs Trainee Program should: Be between
21 and 35 years of age; Have finished at least one year of university
studies in a field related to the trainee position; Have written and
spoken English fluency; Be a Swedish citizen. All trainee openings
will be posted on the SACC SF website under Current Trainee Openings. Please specify
which opening you are applying for, since we are not considering general applications. More
