SIGRID - THE VIKING SHIP
The Viking Age is full of myths, it is a time when legends stands in opposition to the truth. It is embossed by Viking raids, capture of new territories and plundering, but in spite of all that, it still has a very strong symbolic value to the Scandinavian people.

Now you have the chance to sail with Sigrid Storråda, a magnificent Viking ship that was build up ten years ago. It is a reconstruction of a real Viking ship, that was found in Norway in the year 1880, and it is the largest Viking ship in Sweden .

According to the legend, Sigrid Storråda was a remarkable woman. Admired by many, feared by some. She was haughty and capricious but her stunning beauty attracted men from far and away. Sigrid was married to two kings and thus became a powerful figure in Scandinavia.

On August the 20 th you will have an unique opportunity to relive the Nordic history when the ship sails out on the extravagant lake Värnen. During the excursion you will enjoy some genuine Viking food and beverage, and the dedicated crew will make sure you have a fabulous time.
