Nearly eighty years ago, English seed merchant and entrepreneur Samuel Ryder founded the Ryder Cup. This year Lidköping, Sweden, has founded the inaugural EDAYS Golf Cup, which will be contested by teams from the UNITED STATES and SWEDEN.

Lidköpings GK is an inland golf course situated close to Vänern, which is Sweden's largest lake. The relatively short but demanding course rewards accuracy rather than power. If having played par on holes 11, 12, 13 and 14, you will find yourself well on course for a good score. However holes 17 and 18 can be tricky as they are often susceptible to the breezes from the lake. So be careful and remember that accuracy beats power!
