Matt Andersen, Director, US Commercial Service, San Diego
Matt Andersen has served as Director of the U.S. Commerce Department’s San Diego Export Assistance Center since August 1997.  The mission of the USDOC’s network of Commercial Service offices located throughout the nation and around the world (in our U.S. embassies and consulates) is to help U.S. companies expand their export business. 

The USDOC offices under Matt’s management have consistently been among the most effective and productive export assistance centers in the nation.  In 2004, he received the award of “National Manager of the Year” for the U.S. Commercial Service.  In 2003, he was recognized with the “International Business Leader of the Year” by the San Diego World Trade Center. 

 

Dr. Dan Arvizu, Director,
National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL)

NREL, in Golden, Colorado, began operations in 1977 and is the Department of Energy's primary laboratory for energy efficiency and renewable energy research and development. NREL is operated for DOE by Midwest Research Institute (MRI) and Battelle. Dr. Arvizu also is a Senior Vice President with MRI, headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri.
Prior to joining NREL, Dr. Arvizu was the chief technology officer with CH2M HILL Companies, Ltd. Before joining CH2M he was an executive with Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He started his career and spent four years at the AT&T Bell Telephone Laboratories.
In 2004, Dr. Arvizu was appointed by President George W. Bush, and confirmed by the full U.S. Senate, to be on the 24-member National Science Board (NSB), which is the governing board of the National Science Foundation and the national science policy advisory body to the President and the Congress.
Dr. Arvizu serves on a number of Boards, Panels and Advisory Committees including the Advisory Board of the American Council on Renewable Energy, the Board of the National Hispanic National Achievement Awards Corporation, and the Greater Metro Denver Board of the Salvation Army.

 

Tom Berggren, Managing Director, Swedish Private Equity and Venture Capital Association, SVCA
Tom Berggren is Managing Director of the Swedish Private Equity and Venture Capital Association since 1998.

Tom has a long experience in developing growth companies as an owner and board member and was co-founder of Stockholm Fondkommission.

 

Leif A. Bohman, CEO, 3g LOGIX
Leif has extensive experience in the development, marketing and management of software companies, both in the US and internationally. Mr. Bohman was the founder and president of LAN International, Inc. a software firm that developed advertising solutions for the cable / radio industry. The company was sold for substantial profit to its largest customer before Bohman left to work on the establishment of three other Scandinavian companies in the US namely, April System Design, Spize IT and CoreTrek. Earlier, Mr. Bohman held different management positions in Nokia, Datapoint, Olivetti and Motorola. Mr. Bohman has a degree in Computer Science from the University of Stockholm.

 

James D. Boyd, Vice Chair, California Energy Commission
Vice Chair Boyd was appointed by Governor Schwarzenegger to a secondfive-year term on the California Energy Commission on February 2, 2007. He was first appointed to the California Energy Commission on February 6, 2002, and he was appointed to the Vice Chair position on June 16, 2006.
Prior to his appointment, Commissioner Boyd was Deputy Secretary and Chief of Staff of the California Resources Agency. He created and chaired the state's first Joint Agency Climate Change Team and the state's Natural Gas Working Group. He has served for fifteen years as the Chief Executive Officer of the California Air Resources Board (CARB), directing the nation's largest state air pollution control program.

 

Christian Braemer, CEO & Founder,
Joe Media, Inc.

Mr. Braemer is the founder & CEO of Joe Media Inc., a wireless internet and advertising company based in San Diego, CA. Christian's has a background in the capital markets with Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley as a financial advisor. He has also held a top sales position with a major national home improvement company, has owned and operated a restaurant, and served as a sergeant in the Royal Danish Army. Christian has served as President of SACC San Diego/Tijuana since 2006.   

 

Lars-Henrik Friis Molin, CEO & Founder,
Universum Communications

In 1988, Lars-Henrik Friis Molin was a student at The Stockholm School of Economics in Sweden nearing the end of his university education and considering which career path to follow. At the time, there was very little communication between students and the companies seeking to employ them; gathering information on career options and individual employers was extremely difficult.
Dissatisfied with the lack of communication, Lars-Henrik started a magazine with the vision of fostering better communication and understanding between students and the business community—a magazine that grew rapidly into a key source of information for students about their career opportunities. The early Universum team decided to conduct a survey among their readers, intending to use the results to help companies understand and better communicate with the group they were trying to recruit.
Today, Universum Communications monitors the opinions of students in 20 European countries, the United States South Africa and Asia.

 

Thomas O. Gephart, Founder & Managing Partner,
Ventana Capital

Mr. Gephart has led the successful global launch of 5 U.S. Technology venture capital and private equity funds. In the past, he has worked with his Latin American Partners to form funds in both Chile and Mexico, but now focuses entirely on U.S. technology companies.
As Ventana’s driving force, Tom has implemented the firm’s proactive investment style, by assisting companies in the necessary business strategies and relationships for introduction to the public capital markets. He pioneered Ventana’s focus in both the high tech and life sciences sectors. He has led the active investment by Ventana’s affiliated funds in 76 portfolio companies in these two sectors, with roles ranging from CEO to Chairman to Director. His long history of actively working shoulder-to-shoulder with the senior management and boards of directors of these companies makes him an ideal person to lead Ventana’s activities in these areas.

 

Gunilla Girardo, President, SACC-USA
Ms. Girardo has more than 14 years experience in implementing, selling and marketing international business programs between the U.S. and Sweden and other EU countries. A native of Sweden, she has spent the past thirteen years living and working in the Washington D.C. area. Since 2001 Ms. Girardo serves as president for SACC-USA which is the umbrella organization for the 20 regional Swedish-American Chambers of Commerce located all over the U.S. During her six years with SACC-USA, the organization has seen a considerable growth in number of members all over the U.S. and in Sweden; new value added member programs as well as new initiatives to stimulate trade and commerce between the two countries.

Jonas Hafström,
Ambassador of Sweden to the US

Ambassador Hafström previously served as Sweden’s ambassador to Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Burma/Myanmar, prior to which he was a member of the Swedish Defense Committee, as well as deputy director-general and head of the Department for Consular Affairs and Civil Law in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In addition, he has served various postings under former Prime Minister and Chairman of the Moderate Party Carl Bildt, including: foreign policy advisor, head of the party’s International Bureau, assistant undersecretary, and press secretary. Ambassador Hafström, a noncommissioned reserve captain in the Swedish Army, also held numerous other public sector postings throughout the 1980s, including head of section in the Foreign Affairs Ministry, first secretary to the Swedish Embassy in Washington and in Tehran, and press secretary to the Minister of justice.

 

Andre Heinz, Founder,
Sustainable Technologies Fund

Mr. Heinz has been active in the field of sustainable development since 1993, when he began working for William McDonough, the noted green architect and designer, on sustainable design issues and projects. In 1995 he co-founded the first U.S. office of The Natural Step, a Swedish-based non-profit organization specialized in education and consulting around sustainable development. Since that he has turned his attention yet again to the Nordic Region as the founder of Sustainable Technology Capital LP, with the Sustainable Technologies Fund I LP, focused on Nordic Clean Tech.

 

Gary Knight, President/CEO, San Diego North Economic Development Council
Gary Knight is the President & CEO of San Diego North Economic Development Council and is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree. Gary has over 25 years experience in the health care field working for companies such as Proctor and Gamble, American Hospital Supply and Baxter International. Gary moved to San Diego in 1985 to manage a division of Tenent Health Care and in 1995 he started his own consultant agency which he sold in 2003. Gary joined San Diego North Economic Development Council in April of 2004 and was named President and Chief Executive Officer in December of 2004.

 

Michael Leeds, Partner, Blank Rome Law Firm
Michael Leeds has broad experience in representing foreign investors in the United States and in business transactions in Europe and elsewhere around the world.  Mr. Leeds counsels clients in all aspects of estate planning and administration.  His primary areas of concentration include: all aspects of estate planning and administration in Florida, New York, and internationally; international business transactions, including acquisitions of companies outside the U.S. and representation of U.S. and foreign companies in business activities throughout the world.

 

Rory Moore, Director & CEO, CommNexus
Rory Moore was the seed round investor, co-founder and Vice President/CFO of Peregrine Semiconductor Corp. Rory was also the seed round investor and founding CEO of Silicon Wave, Inc., acquired by RF Microdevices (NASDAQ:RFMD) in 2004. He was a cofounder of e-Fire.com, and Optical River. In addition, he is co-chair of the Military Special Interest Group and a member of the NextStage committee. A University of Michigan alum, Rory' s hobbies include aerobatic flying, scuba diving and surfing.

 

Terry Moore, Executive Director,
Morrison & Foerster Venture Network

Mr. Moore has over 27 years of experience successfully investing, founding, leading and advising early-stage and emerging growth companies in the technology and life science industries.  Mr. Moore has been a venture capitalist, the founder and CEO of three companies, and has served on the Boards of numerous companies.  Mr. Moore is the Founder and Chairman of The VC Roundtable a private, invitation organization for venture capitalists, corporate strategic investors, and the leadership of angel organizations in Southern California.  Mr. Moore has a BS in Engineering from the University of Florida and an MBA in Venture Management and Marketing from the University of San Diego.

 

Toni Nimji, CEO, Ipendo AB/Ipendo Inc.
Co-founder and CEO of Ipendo AB. Toni is the driving force behind the market success of the company.  Before joining Ipendo, Toni worked as Patent Attorney and Key Account Manager at a large European IP firm. He also has a background as a consultant within the IT/Telecom industry and the microelectronics field. Toni has a profound understanding for client needs and always strives to deliver services best tailored to any business situation. He holds a M.Sc. in Applied Physics & Electrical Engineering from the University of Linköping, Sweden.

Toni has been investigating the US Intellectual Property Business for some years before the establishment of Ipendo Inc. in Silicon Valley, California in 2007. Focus has been on transferring a successful European concept to the US market by creating sales channels and partners. Toni will be heading the US operations at least during the first year.

 

Patrik Parnfors, Head of Clients & Markets, Deliotte Sweden
Patrik is head of sales and business development for Deloitte Sweden and is responsible for driving and developing Deloittes strategic initiatives.

Patrik studied Business Administration and German at Lunds University and has been with Deloitte since 2002. Patrik has a great interest in entrepreneurship and is involved in several organizations that supports entrepreneurs e.g. Connect Sweden and the Gazelle Project.

 

Doug Pennington,
Managing Partner, Private Capital Network

In 2006 Mr. Pennington founded Private Capital Network, an angel investor group that specializes in early stage and start-up companies.  PCN unlike many angel groups in the market place will accept companies from all industries – criteria being that a good business model is in place.  PCN is also the first angel group to educate its’ members on foreign market investment strategies and opportunities.  During PCN’s first year of operation it has grown from one to three chapters (Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego).  In 2007, PCN viewed 25 company presentations.  Of this number, 3 companies received financing totaling $9.6 million.   Doug has been an active angel investor for over 5 years.

 

Duane J. Roth, CEO, Connect
Mr. Roth is executive director of Connect. Connect is the globally recognized, non-profit organization fostering entrepreneurship in the San Diego region by catalyzing, accelerating, and supporting the growth of the most promising technology and life sciences businesses. Focused on assisting growth companies in the San Diego region, Connect has been directly involved with more than 1,000 companies since its inception in 1985, helping them raise over $10 billion in capital.
Previously, Roth founded Alliance Pharmaceutical Corp. where he still serves as chairman of the board.
Roth is a member of the board of directors of the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO), the California Healthcare Institute (CHI), and immediate past chair of BIOCOM. He serves on the University of California’s President’s Board on Science and Innovation. 

 

Peter Selemark, Vice President, Salesgen
Always worked within sales in some form and are genuinely interested in getting to know all about the 'customers customers', continuous improvements and are always eager to learn. 10 years experience of complex solution sales to many different industries and markets segments in Sweden. Previously held positions as; sales representative, key account manager, sales leader and sales manager at; IBM Software, Sigma, Martinsson and Pitney Bowes.

 

Urban Smedeby, President, Bridgewater Capital
Mr Smedeby is the founder of two money management firms; establishing Bentley Richards and Associates in 1991 and subsequently forming Bridgewater Capital in 1994 where he has served as President since inception.  During Urban’s career in corporate finance he has structured, negotiated and successfully completed transactions for over $500 million in various equity and debt structures.  Bridgewater Capital’s primary focus is managing “special situation” hedge funds.
Through the years Urban has worked with hundreds of entrepreneurs and is uniquely qualified to act as a liaison between the founders of Companies and the capital markets.  Urban’s real passion is food and wine and is the majority owner and co-founder of the San Diego Wine and Culinary Center.

 

Mary Walshok, Associate Vice Chancellor, University of California, San Diego
Mary is Associate Vice Chancellor--Extended Studies and Public Service and Adjunct Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of California, San Diego. In this capacity, she is responsible for the University's self-funded continuing education and outreach programs with an annual budget of $20 million, which serve more than 40,000 participants annually, and include the Summer Session which serves 5,000 students, the University's television station as well as Extension Centers in North County and downtown San Diego.

The recipient of many awards and honors, among them a Kellogg Foundation national fellowship, Dr. Walshok is a member of numerous community boards and professional associations including the San Diego Community Foundation, Girard Foundation, Eureka Communities, Foundation for Enterprise Development, ACCION, and the Francis W. Parker School Board of Trustees, of which she is President.

 

Viveka  Wahlstedt, Chairman, SACC-USA
Ms. Wahlstedt possesses over 25 years experience with internationally focused, high-growth corporations throughout Europe, North America, and Asia. She has also worked as a business change management consultant and led several large corporate turnarounds and consolidation/expansions through mergers and acquisitions, as well as organic growth through startups of subsidiaries and expansion of already existing businesses.
Carnegie Worldwide, Inc., which she co-founded, is a highly specialized, multinational, strategic management consulting and retained executive search firm. Ms. Wahlstedt obtained a Master of Science degree in Industrial Psychology and an additional Masters Degree in Business Administration at UCLA.

Ms. Wahlstedt is a member of the World Trade Association, as well as a dedicated supporter of Clinica Esperanca de Amporo a Crianca, a not-for-profit children’s HIV clinic started in 1989 and located in Porto Alegre, Brazil.

 

Harvey P. White, Chairman of (SHW)2 Enterprises, Co-Founder Qualcomm, Founder Leap Wireless
White has been a fixture in the telecommunications field and philanthropic arenas during his 35-year career in San Diego.
White, who co-founded Qualcomm, served as executive vice president, COO and president. He served on its board from 1985 until 1998 when he retired as its vice chairman to head the spin-off of Leap Wireless in 1998. White served as the new company’s first chairman and CEO until his retirement in 2004.

White is married to Sheryl White a retired banking executive and together they are very active in supporting arts, education and other non-profit organizations. Many local and national charities benefit from the White’s philanthropic work, most notably the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego. White, a former president of the theatre, has recently rejoined the board and is co-campaign chair of the $75 million Old Globe Campaign. The White’s contributions will be recognized with the naming of the Old Globe’s second stage as the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre which is to be rebuilt as one of the Campaign’s goals.  White recently completed his terms as a member of the Board of Trustees of West Virginia Wesleyan College and the Bishop’s School. He was a member of the committee that envisioned the Rady School of Management at UCSD where he now serves on the advisory board and has endowed a chair at the school.
White is former chairman of the San Diego Regional Economic Development Corporation and was a co-founder of the San Diego Telecom CEO Council. He currently serves as chairman of San Diego-based business development and consulting firm (SHW)² Enterprises which focuses on growth-oriented technology products and markets.

 

Dean Paul Wong, SDSU – College of
Arts and Letters

Paul Wong is the dean of the College of Arts and Letters at San Diego State University, where he is also a professor of sociology. His appointment at San Diego State University began on June 30, 2003.
In his current position at San Diego State University, he provides academic and administrative leadership for the College that includes nineteen academic departments, fifteen centers/institutes, a number of research journals, and the SDSU Press.
Paul Wong received the B.A., M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of California, Berkeley. He was a visiting post-doctoral fellow in economics at Berkeley in 1979. He has held academic appointments at a number of universities, including the University of California at Berkeley and San Diego, University of Illinois, Arizona State University, and Washington State University.

Daniel E. Altman, Partner, Knobbe Marten Olson & Bear LLP
Mr. Altman specializes in patent protection and related licensing issues for the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and chemical industries.  A particular specialty of Mr. Altman’s relates to foreign patent protection for these industries.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Altman was a teacher for the Los Angeles Unified School District, where he taught physical science to seventh and eighth grade students.  During law school, Mr. Altman was an editor for the High Technology Law Journal (now the Berkeley Technology Law Journal).  He completed an externship with the Honorable Terry J. Hatter, now Chief Judge, U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. 

 

Gary Augusta, President and CEO, OCTANe
Gary Augusta is President and CEO of OCTANe and Executive Director of the OCTANe Foundation for Innovation. Gary brings over 15 years experience to his role, with experience in early stage growth strategy, corporate venture, engineering, development, consulting, and M&A at technology start-ups, for- and non-profit corporations, and Fortune 500 companies.

Gary joined OCTANe in March of 2004 and is a member of the UC Irvine CEO Roundtable, the Keck Graduate Institute Advisory Council, and the UC Irvine ICS Membership Committee. He serves as a board member or advisor to several start-up companies in the biomedical and information technology industries, as well as at UCLA. Gary has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island and a Masters of Science and Management (MSM) from Georgia Tech.

 

David Ewing Duncan, Author
David Ewing Duncan is an award-winning, best-selling author of six books and numerous essays, articles and short stories, and a television, radio and film producer and correspondent. He is the co-host of NPR’s Biotech Nation. He is a Visiting Researcher at the Graduate School of Journalism at UC Berkeley.

Duncan’s most recent book is Masterminds: Genius, DNA and the Quest to Rewrite Life (Harper Perennial), previously titled The Geneticist Who Played Hoops with My DNA… and other masterminds from the frontiers of biotech (William Morrow/HarperCollins). He wrote the international bestseller Calendar: Humanity’s Epic Struggle to Determine a True and Accurate Year (Harper-Collins/Avon), published in 19 languages, and a bestseller in 14 countries.

 

Dave D. Hood, President, DH3 & Associates,
Senior Advisor for the Director of the US Army Medical Research and Material Command

DH3 and Associates is a company that focuses on working with the US Government, industry, and academia to move new medical technology and products into commercialization. He also serves as the Senior Advisor for the Principle Assistant for Acquisition at the United States Medical Research and Material Command.

Mr. Hood worked with Rockwell International and Northrop Grumman attaining senior management positions. He successfully guided the development of various sensor systems for high performance aircraft, missiles, and satellites including the stealth bomber, stealth fighter and the Global Positioning Satellites (GPS). He was also selected to guide a successful spin-out to pursue integrated medical systems for ERs, ORs, and ICUs

Mr. Hood has worked with the US Congress, European governments, and the financial community to raise capital focusing on non-dilutive funding. He holds 3 patents and has been the stimulus for more than 2 dozen. He published and presented in the US and Europe. He taught graduate school courses in Project Management, Business Management, Operations Management and Entrepreneurship. He is currently consulting for the US Army Surgeon General’s Medical Research and Material Command where he assists with the commercialization of promising new technologies.

 

Greg Horowitt, Director and Co-Founder Global CONNECT
As the Director and Co-Founder of the Global CONNECT program based at the University of California, San Diego, Greg Horowitt is a key thought leader in the field of ‘innovation systems’, and their relevant applications for sustainable regional economic development through technology commercialization.

 Leveraging his years of applied expertise as a seasoned business executive, entrepreneur and advisor to venture capital companies, Mr. Horowitt has been instrumental in building a highly sought after research and technical assistance practice that supports the development, implementation, and integration of successful regional strategies and programs focused on the assistance of sustainable and scalable science based innovations.

 

Jay S. Kunin, Ph.D., Vice President BioMed Trak, San Diego Tech Coast Angels
Jay Kunin has over 30 years experience as an entrepreneur, business consultant and investor.  He has been a Director of several private companies, including RegeneMed (tissue engineering), InsilicoMed (bioengineering software), HealthSys (healthcare I.T.), and CODA Genomics (protein translation engineering), and an advisor to numerous others.  He was President and Director of BenSoft, Inc., a software services firm in the Consumer-Directed Healthcare business, which was acquired by Metavante (NYSE: MV) in 2008.  He was a principal of Securities Industry Software Corp. (acquired by Citicorp), and co-founder and President of RxSys International, Inc., a public software and electronics company.  He has served as CIO for four life science companies, including a public biopharmaceutical firm, and has been CTO or VP of Engineering of several software and internet companies.  He is a member of the Board of Directors of the San Diego Tech Coast Angels, where he heads the BioMed Track, and is an active consultant in medical and pharmaceutical IT.  He has been a university lecturer in early-stage funding and technology entrepreneurship, a consultant to the government of New Zealand, and a Visiting Fellow with the Australian Institute for Commericalisation.  He holds B.S. (physical sciences) and Ph.D. (computer science) degrees from MIT.

Professor Strandberg is Chairman of the NDA Advisory Board, NDA Regulatory Science Ltd, an international consultancy on regulatory affairs, The NDA Advisory Board comprises prominent ex-regulators and other senior experts, and gives advice to the international pharmaceutical and biotech industry on strategic regulatory science matters. He is a Board member of Orexo Pharmaceuticals, a drug delivery company, and Innate Pharmaceuticals, a drug discovery company. He is a Board member of the Foundation for Pharmaceutical Medicine.
From July 1990 until June 1999 Professor Kjell Strandberg was Director General of the Swedish Medical Products Agency (MPA).

Ian Wisenberg, Senior Vice President of Business Development and CFO BIOCOM, President of BIOCOM Purchasing Group
Ian Wisenberg, an internationally experienced executive with more than 20 years experience in finance, business development and administration is the SVP of Business Development and CFO of BIOCOM as well as President of the BIOCOM Purchasing Group.

Mr. Wisenberg leads the organization’s Capital Development initiative to identify opportunities for further investment in Southern California life science companies as well as the establishment of strategic financial partnerships with local, national as well as international financing institutions.

The BIOCOM Purchasing Group is a subsidiary of BIOCOM.  This Group Purchasing Organization accounts for over $30MM in annual sales with a select group of preferred vendors accessible by members of BIOCOM.  Mr. Wisenberg serves on the Board of the BIOCOM Purchasing Group.

Len J. Lauer, Executive VP & Group President, Qualcomm
Lauer joined Qualcomm in December 2006 with more than 20 years high-tech experience – 15 years specifically in the telecommunications industry. Lauer is currently on the board of directors for H&R Block and the Nelson Atkins Museum.
Prior to joining Qualcomm, Lauer served as chief operating officer for Sprint Nextel where he directed all of the company’s operations to deliver converged media and communication services. By integrating several disparate platforms and processes, Lauer created a new, simplified and cost-efficient management system resulting in a planned 2006 operational expense savings of $900 million for Sprint Nextel.
Prior to joining Sprint, he was president and CEO of Bell Atlantic-New Jersey. Lauer also spent more than 10 years with IBM, holding a variety of management positions in marketing and sales.
Lauer holds a bachelor's degree in managerial economics from the University of California, San Diego.

 

Tom Pollard, VP, Marketing, SKY MobileMedia
Tom Pollard brings over 19 years of experience in marketing, business development, and engineering development to his role as vice president of marketing. Prior to joining SKY, Mr. Pollard was worldwide marketing director for Texas Instruments’ Wireless Chipset Business Unit where he led the product management, strategic marketing, and wireless operator activities for TI’s GPRS/EDGE, UMTS, and CDMA chipset product lines. He was also director of product marketing for Dot Wireless; and senior positions with WaveWare Communications, Sony Wireless, and TRW Systems Engineering Lab. Mr. Pollard holds multiple communications patents, has been published in numerous technical and industry publications, and is a frequent high-profile speaker at wireless industry events. He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Harvey Mudd College and a master’s of engineering in communications and signal processing from the University of Southern California.

 

Jan Ögren, CFO & COO, Ericsson, Inc.
Mr. Jan Ögren has over 20 years of experience in the wireless communications industry.  He has been with Ericsson since 1984 and is currently CFO and COO of the North American Market Unit. Mr. Ögren is responsible for commercial support, finance and administration, as well as ensuring that Ericsson North America is executing their business with operational excellence.

He has served in a variety of finance roles within Ericsson.  Most recently, he was Vice President of Sales within BU Systems with global sales responsibility for Ericsson fixed and mobile core networks and Service Layer product portfolio.
Mr. Ögren has a degree in Business Administration & Finance from Stockholm University and has completed a Post Graduate Executive Program at Columbia Business School.
